Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao, which is located in the heart of the bustling Hongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, has a lot going go on during the upcoming Spring festival. Let’s take a look.

At 10:08 am on the first day of the Lunar New Year (January 29th), the lion dance which symbolizes good luck and auspiciousness will be performed.  Also, all visitors are welcome to participate in couplet-writing, using a brush to write blessings on red paper and experiencing the charm of Chinese calligraphy.

On the second day, making lanterns and enjoying the fun of traditional handicrafts.

On the third day, have fun with paper-cutting art.

On the fourth day, homemade cookies time with the whole family.

On the fifth day, make dumplings which represent reunion.

On the sixth day, make dumplings again but this time sweet dumplings (tang yuan) in a bowl of steaming hot ginger scented syrup.

The hotel welcomes all to have some good fun together.
